Obituary for Doris Jean Brazzel-Ekman

Our family sadly lost a beloved family member on Thursday, July 5, 2018, when Doris Jean Brazzel-Ekman, favorably known as Widda woman , passed away from natural causes. Doris was born in Gridley July 1, 1945 and has been a longtime resident working as a local beautician. She relocated to McCall-Donnelly, Idaho for a some years with her husband Jerry, where she attained her CNA license before she moved back home to Gridley.

Doris is survived by
a daughter, Jessie Ekman-Smith, her son in law Jerry Smith and her 2 grandsons Logan and Timmy Smith. Also her son, Brian Wimberly, her daughter in law Kandi, her sister Marie Brazzel-Wilson and sister in law Roberta J Brazzel as well many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded into death by her parents, Lloyd and Mary Brazzel, 2 brothers, Kennith and Jimmy Brazzel, her loving husband Jerry Ekman and her in laws Carmen and Arlene Ekman.

Doris' memories will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with.
